In January 2020, when securing coverage on funding news was infinitely more challenging than it is today, my team and I at The Bulleit Group worked with TechCrunch to go beyond the funding to articulate the market opportunity ahead of Directly.

LinkedIn’s engineering team has a long relationship with The Bulleit Group, and I learned a lot from their amazing team. For this story, I worked with internal stakeholders at LinkedIn to help craft the story beats for LinkedIn’s announcement of new chat features, which focused on revamping its messaging back end to make their chat more like chat, and less like email.
